Southwest Health System no longer requires patients, or visitors, to wear masks. Masks will be readily available to you if you choose to wear one.

You are required to wear a mask if you have any COVID symptoms OR have been in contact with anyone with COVID symptoms in the last 7 days.

Offering Pfizer, Moderna & Janssen vaccines!

Available Monday through Friday, 9 am-5 pm

Pfizer is for 5 years of age and older with a second shot due 28 days after.

Moderna is for 18 years of age and older with a second shot due 3 weeks after.

Janssen is a single-dose shot for 18 years of age and older.

 

The process takes approximately 30 minutes.

Monoclonal Antibody Therapy

You will need a referral from your provider, be within 10 days of symptom onset, and have a positive covid test with an oxygen saturation of 90% or better on room air or baseline O2. Please contact your provider for more details on scheduling. The therapy will last approximately 2-3 hours.

A Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment monoclonal antibody bus will be available at specific locations throughout the state of Colorado. If you would like to receive monoclonal antibody treatment, please contact your Primary Care Provider (PCP) and let them know you would like to visit the specific bus number and location. Once you have a referral, you will be contacted to schedule a specific day and time. Vaccines are currently being distributed by CDPHE to the Montezuma County Health Department and local pharmacies such as Safeway, City Market, Walgreens, and Walmart. Please reach out to them for information and availability. For details on eligibility and vaccine locations in Colorado, click here.

From December 2020 through May 1, 2021, SHS has held 59 COVID-19 clinics providing 5,488 first-dose, 4840 second-dose, 10328 total doses of COVID-19 vaccines given. Except for just a handful of Johnson & Johnson, SHS has primarily given Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines.
