BLS – Basic Life Support: Full Course @ Southwest Health System Annex Building

Classes are typically held in the Education Room near the front lobby of the Annex Building at 20 S. Market Street. Exceptions to that will be posted.

About HeartCode:
HeartCode® BLS is an official, self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program from the American Heart Association (AHA). This program uses eSimulation technology to present realistic patient scenarios. Students are presented with 5 BLS cases and an online multiple-choice written exam. While interacting with the program, students assess each patient, formulate a treatment plan based on AHA BLS guidelines, and provide treatment. Successful completion of Part 1, the cognitive component, and Parts 2 and 3, skills practice and testing with an AHA BLS Instructor, are the requirements for obtaining an AHA BLS Healthcare Provider card.

Southwest Health System employees attend free
Non-employee fees are: $25/Full Course OR $15/HeartCode Skills Testing

Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association.
